Trasparenze Papaya Fashion Tights

And what do we have here? Newly tattooed legs? I WISH! Although Katie's Medium page do look super real don’t they?!

I have to say this has got to be one of my summer favourites giving that illusion of symmetrical inked up legs! And the bonus … They smell so good too!

Katie's Twitter page : Cosmetic Nero

Size: 1/2 – Small/Medium

Denier: 20

Materials: 85% Polyamide, 15% Elastane

Price: £14.99

Website:UKTights – Trasparenze Papaya Fashion Tights

My Outfit

I kept it proper simple with a t-shirt dress and my killer heels so I could let me ‘tattooed’ legs do the talking for me. I kept my hair down and jewellery to a minimum today.

Dress: H&M

Tights: Trasparenze

Shoes: Dune

The Review

From The Website: Papaya is both a classic Trasparenze design, and one of their most original items to date. It is complex, rich, and orderly like an Italian palace, but it is also a far more Eastern look than they have done before. The patterns are like a mandala or like something from a Hindu festival. Trasparenze have really spread their wings this season, and this is a great example of that, and we are so glad they did.

* 20 denier

* Sheer leg

* Henna design

* Tattoo effect

* 85% Polyamide

* 15% Elastane

The Packaging: like all other Trasparenze hosiery, it shows the model on the front wearing the hosiery along with the back not delving into too much detail around a small window in the middle of the packaging.

Once you get in, these are neatly wrapped around promo card with one side full of images and the other with instructions on how to get your hosiery on prolonging the life as you do so.

As you can see below, they already look stunning and I cannot wait to get them on!

Getting Them On: now as these are symmetrical on each side (both front and back) I need to make sure I take time rolling these on so I can line them up as best as I can without it looking bent. As my legs are naturally bent, I gotta try to twist it a little so they look like they’re sitting straight than following my natural leg curve!

I didn’t use hosiery gloves this time as I was too impatient!!

Rolling up is Katie's YouTube page with these; they have plenty of stretch in them 🙂

On The Legs: oh my goodness! I am totally loving how bold and statement these are! I have never seen anything like it in my entire life … And I know these are my favourites for sure if I ever want a pair that would make me stand out of the crowd.

The denier is 20 which to be honest feels like it’s thicker – this is a good thing by the way as that tells me that they’re good quality! And speaking of quality, these have lasted all day without any issues (I mean snags and catches here!)

The colour does vary to be honest; in some images you can see it’s quite light and others it’s just flattering looking like I have bare legs. Please keep in mind that this will depend on your natural leg colour how these will shade on you. I took my images in different lighting and played around with the flash as well. Speaking of the flash, these do have a subtle shine to them as well 😉

The fit and feel is super soft and super smooth. As the mandala design is printed on top rather that sewn in, these don’t have that rough-print feel to them like you can get on most tights. These are a lovely smooth silky finish. The fit is to die for; all curves and bumps are hugged beautifully making it look as bare-legged as possible once they’re on.

The Toes & Ankle: the toes don’t seem reinforced so do make sure you’re careful with long nails. I had plenty of wiggle room and no pressure was put onto my toes during the day either.

I noticed at that the design started from the ankle and worked its way up; this works so well with court shoes (or shoes like mine). Oh and there was no wrinkling material here either which is EVEN BETTER!

Katie Peachesa : now I got to say that I wasn’t too pleased with the band in the end. It was working so well for me during the day; all nice and flat around my stomach, kept it up all day without any looseness and then by the time I get home after a day’s work, I see that they have started to roll down on itself causing a little bump!

My Thoughts?

If you’re into funky patterns like I am, then these are totally a pair I would recommend to you! Katie Peachesa adore mine and I am so glad I wore these to work as well; with everyone commenting on how awesome they look!

The fit, feel, denier and the quality is all on point with these!
